Microsoft Outlook

Click 'Tools' and then 'E-mail Accounts'. When a new window opens click 'Add New E-mail Account'.
Select the POP3 or IMAP version.
Enter your data.
Click 'multiple settings', 'Outgoing Server', and tick 'SMTP Requires Authentication'.

Outlook Express

Click 'Tools' and then 'Accounts'. When a new window opens, click 'Add and then Mail'.
Enter your data.
Select the POP3 or IMAP version.
Enter your username and password.
Select your account, click 'Properties' and tick 'Server Requires Authorization' in the Servers tab.
