Who can register a .si domain?

The amended regulations of 6 November 2008 mean that anyone can register a .si domain.

How do I manage the domain?

You can manage a domain in your My Zabec (“Moj Zabec”) administrative operation system, where you can change all the parameters of your domain.

I would like to transfer my domain from another provider to Zabec. How do I do this?

Fill in the form for a domain transfer. We will initiate the procedure, and you will receive an e-mail with a transfer authorization request. After the authorization is confirmed, the domain will be transferred to Zabec. We must inform you that the lease period for .si and .eu domains with another provider shall be terminated, but the lease period for other domains will simply be extended.

I have more than 30 domains registered with you. Am I entitled to a discount?

Of course you are. Please contact info@zabec.net and we will arrange a discount.

How will I know my domain has expired?

Our system will start notifying you 30 days before your domain expires. The message will include instructions on how to extend your subscription.

When will the domain be registered?

The domain will be registered within 48 hours of receiving the payment.
In most cases of domains paid for with Moneta and PayPal, the procedure is completed within a matter of hours.

Can I change my mind about the domain address?

NO, all registrations are confirmed when paid and cannot be changed.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, private entities may return domains within 14 days, but only if DNS addresses have not been entered.

How do I extend a domain subscription?

Log onto My Zabec, click Domain and Extend. You will receive an invoice and the subscription will be extended upon receiving your payment.

I wish to change the owner of the domain. How do I do this?

Send us an e-mail requesting a change of ownership to info@zabec.net. We will take care of the rest.

For what period of time can I register/extend a domain?

You can register a .si domain for a period of 5 years. All other domains are available for a period of 10 years.

I extended my domain when it expired but after several hours it is still not active. Why?

For all domain related changes (registration, extending, change of DNS addresses, etc) please allow 6 hours for changes to take effect, since servers are only refreshed periodically.
