From a Tadpole to a Full-Grown FrogAbout Zabec's first steps and where they have taken us so far. |
Zabec.net began operations on 4 August 2003 when we made our first contacts and set up our equipment. We started developing the first versions of the CMS system and set up a CRM system on the web for the Plato project.
In 2004 we began collaborating with Infodesign, and the Optika Zajec opticians' website was the result of that collaboration. Our first commercial server, nicknamed Leja, was set up.
In 2005, Zabec.net started developing and we began working on version 2.0 of the CMS system. We also initiated our collaboration with Fanfara advertising agency.
2006 was a milestone for Zabec.net. Throughout the entire year, we made preparations for a new corporate image and the launch of commercial hosting and domain registration services. We became Arnes' authorized registrar and expanded the domain registration offer to most global domains. We also began collaborating with the new design agency Vizuarna.
We ended 2007 with new experiences, new colleagues, and new partners. Amongst our big achievements of the year, we count the MaXXimum and Planet Lepote portals, as well as the Ljubljanske Mlekarne web site, for which we received the Netko award. We are one of the few companies in Slovenia that can boast a golden Netko 2007 award for company presentations in the area of industry, services, trade, and finance. We celebrated our achievements with our new colleagues and partners Kontrastika and Memo Institut.
In 2008, Zabec moved downtown. We left our old offices in the Ljubljana suburbs and moved to 2 Tržaška cesta. 2008 was all about our collaboration with the British Council on their "Creative Cities" project.
In the past year Zabec.net has established important business contacts with renowned designers agencies. Luks Lab in Catlina by which confidence we implement two major projects Rima and TV3. Ourself with our partners we implemented Imos website and new projects of multimedia web presentations: promo video and promo book for Iliruja.
